To all disclaimers:

By not voting, I am still voting. My problem is not only with the two-party system, but also with the process by which our elections are done. The electoral college has made it fully possible for none of our votes to actually matter. We do not determine the president; if anyone doesn’t believe me or understand that fully, I encourage you to look it up. However, if my vote actually mattered in this election, I want people to know that I would happily vote for Ron Paul; if you ask why, then read his book “The Revolution: A Manifesto.” I believe strongly in the Constitution and I wish we could return to following the principle therein.

Now, while I am encouraging people not to vote in this particular election, I am simultaneously insisting that people do get involved, first by educating yourself on issues that contain substance. Take for example the current economic problems %u2026 I believe that if you look into it you will find that the more government intervention there is, the longer and the worse the problems become. The biggest issue that is never addressed is the problem of our fiat money system.

Once you yourself are educated, then educate those around you. All of Mr. Ren’s suggestions for things to do were good ones. As individuals we can’t make a huge difference, but as part of a whole movement to end the corruption and oppression of our expanding government we can; but we all have to do our part. That includes no longer supporting the republicrats.

I do not wish to ignore governmental oppression, just to get enough educated people together to do something about it instead of just talking about how bad it seems until my civil liberties disappear completely.
